Description

First stop to swim and admire the Monastery of Panagia Chrysopigi, the Patron Saint of Sifnos. From our boat we can see the flat shape of the rock, as well as the point where the sacred rock is detached from the headland and ushers into the sea. The legend connects this slit to the rock with the foundation of the monastery. Then we meet the fishing port of Faros, Fasolou and Glyfo bay. On our way back to the west, we cruise parallel to Kitriani island and finally we reach Fykiada, a beach surrounded by verdant landscape and the chapel of Agios Georgios Kontos to complete the subtle, beautiful scenery. The most well-known non-organized bay of Sifnos with greenish fresh waters.
